Doonbeg
Doonbeg is a beautiful small village, situated between Kilkee and Miltown Malbay. The village was built close to the remains of Doonbeg castle, dating back to the 15-16th century. There is a long swimming beach at the White Strand. Visitors can enjoy some traditional shops and typical restaurant, along the Doonbeg river; at the local pubs they can listen to the traditional music for which West Clare is famous.
