Ballyconnell
Ballyconnell is a delicious small town, located near the Fermanagh Border and overlooked by the Slieve Russell mountain. The name is due to a Celtic Ford. The famous Killycluggin Stone was found here: dating back to the Iron Age, this important stone contains Celtic motifs first found in Switzerland.
Ballyconnell is an important fishing centre and it is particilarly loved by golfers, too.
